About Us
GourmetShop (also known as Gourmet Shop Online) is a Singapore-based specialty grocer dedicated to bringing the finest French and European-style foods to your table. Founded by Madam Edith Lai and Chevalier, Chef Julien Bompard, formerly of the renowned Le Saint Julien Restaurant (2003–2013). Our journey began with La Fromagerie, Singapore’s very first cheese shop. Established in 2008 at Mohamed Sultan Road, later moving to Holland Village, La Fromagerie became a haven for cheese lovers with its curated selection, all imported directly from France.
Today, we offer not only artisanal cheeses and charcuterie platters but also gourmet canapés, ready-to-eat delights, and frozen signature dishes under OoH la la ! de Chef Julien. From Foie Gras Terrine, Duck Rillette, and Country Pâté, to comforting soups and indulgent mains like Beef Wellington, Salmon Coulibiac, Slow-Cooked Beef Cheek, and Duck Confit, our creations are crafted for both everyday enjoyment and special celebrations.
Beyond our online offerings, we operate a central production kitchen under Prep Chef de Cuisine Service Singapore, supplying gourmet foods wholesale to leading hotels and restaurants. This dual commitment to retail and hospitality reflects our passion for sharing authentic European gastronomy with a wider audience.
